Exploriva is a free iOS trip planner for Europe. Built in Madrid by Avirel, for travelers who find guidebooks too generic and Google Maps too tedious.
Madrid · Barcelona · Paris · Rome · Lisbon · London · Amsterdam · Berlin · Prague · Vienna · Budapest · Athens · Dublin · Edinburgh · Copenhagen · Stockholm · Florence · Venice · Seville · Porto. Each deeply mapped with hand-curated places, 3-day itinerary templates, hidden gems, free things, cheap eats, and city-specific FAQs.
The trip-planning genre is broken. Guidebooks are generic and 6 months stale. Google Maps shows tourist traps next to real local places with no signal. Lonely Planet's top 10 lists are SEO-driven, not actually-been-there driven.
Exploriva fixes this by treating place curation like newsroom journalism: every place gets a local editor's check before it ships. The result is the trip planner you'd build if you had a friend-of-a-friend who actually lives in the city you're visiting.
Avirel is a Madrid-based agent platform company. Exploriva is its first consumer product, launched 26 April 2026. The founder, RJ, lives in Madrid and has built every Madrid-related entry personally.
Exploriva does not sell user data, trip data, or location data. Itineraries are stored on-device by default with optional iCloud sync. The website has no cookies (Cloudflare Web Analytics is privacy-first; no GDPR consent banner needed).
